I met Lindsay when her best friend Lindsey hired me for her wedding and boudoir session. We all spent the afternoon together having a great time and then Lindsay later booked me for her own boudoir session and wedding. Lindsay and Mike squeezed their engagement session in as they were in the process of moving to North Carolina for his job (military!) Hope you’re enjoying the cooler weather up there!

I don’t often get to do “urban” engagement sessions, so I was super excited when Erika and Alex said they would prefer to do their session downtown rather than in a park. Erika is a special agent with FDLE and Alex is a criminal defense attorney. They met through their jobs, being on opposite sides of the law. Knowing what they did for a living, I was expecting a low key session. But I was in for a shock! Erika andAlex are complete hams in front of the camera, constantly making each other laugh (as well as me) by doing silly things, and we even stopped for an adult beverage in the middle of the session. I can honestly say, it was some of the most fun I’ve had in awhile. Thank you guys for making my sides hurt from laughter!

Erika and Alex are getting married TODAY at Lewiswood Farm. I can’t wait to share their wedding photos!

I met up with Casey and Matt in Southwood for their engagement session and everything clicked……the light, the perfect outfits Casey wore, and the couple itself. Casey and Matt are getting married at the Buie Barn in Brunswick, Georgia, this weekend and I can’t wait to see the vintage/bohemian vibe they envisioned come to life.

Carrieann and Shae met on a blind date – set up by their friends. Apparently their friends know them well, because the rest was history. They will be getting married at Highgrove Farm in Valdosta this November, but they drove to Tallahassee for their engagement session. After looking at several locations, Carrieann decided on Dorothy B. Oven Park – one of my favs!! It was a hot day, but I had a great time walking around with these two and laughing with them. I can’t wait until their wedding!

If you’ve been following my work for awhile, you may think that April looks somewhat familiar. That’s because she is! April is the cousin of one of my most amazing former brides Krista!! As soon as April stepped out of the car and I saw her hair, I just knew they were part of the same family. I love how I sometimes have the special opportunity to become included in a family’s life so intimately that I am able to continue to see them year after year.

April and Trey are getting married at Pebble Hill Plantation in October, and I am not only looking forward to photographing their wedding, but also seeing old friends. Until October…….
